Tim Chantarangsu (Traphik) or Better Known By his Online Handle TimothyDeLaGhetto2 is a “self-made” celebrity, known for his funny youtube videos and his hip-hop music. As he states often he is confused with the rapper Jin, making references to him in his songs and even made a skit about him in his first mixtape. His popularity sparked highly when he and his friends Pedro Flores (PDFlo/Peter) and Eric Ochoa (eGO) made a Music video entitled “The Kings Of Myspace” which has spawned a sequel. His youtube videos spawn many topics, ranging from random references to pop culture, little songs and videos, and most notably an advice column known as Dear DeLaGhetto. He resides from Paramount, California and has a girlfriend Iliana, who has appeared in a few of his videos as well as their own music video, the “Summer Love” Remix featuring Justin Timberlake. The part of JT in the video is played by another friend of Tim’s, Rick Carter (Rick Rude/ Ricky Shucks).Tim Has Appeared in the PDFlo Films Short Film Entitled “Thai Smile”Along With Peter, Eric, and Rick.He is Also Currently Working on a Feature Film Known as “High School Sucks the Musical” with PDFlo Films.

Artist Focus-Prince EA

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Prince Ea has resided there his whole life. The youngest of his parent's two children, Ea heard music in his home, and on the streets. He absorbed the songs and style of hip-hop legends such as Rakim, Chuck D, Canibus, Immortal Technique, and Eminem. His new-found love for knowledge came during his 12th grade at high school, where not only had his love for music had grown substantially, but he had also excelled from an average student to graduating high school with honors. This achievement earned him full scholarship in Anthropology at the University of Missouri.
Ea continues to strive in university with a 4.1 GPA average and is expected to graduate by the summer of 2010, with honors.

In late 2008 Prince Ea released the mixtape “The Adolescence” on the internet for free download. Widely advertised on websites such as Myspace and Youtube, it gained attention from numerous underground people of interest. Days after the release Prince Ea recorded an amateur video of himself rapping and entered it into a VIBE Magazine contest dubbed “VIBE Verses”. A few months later, Ea was declared the VIBE Verses grand champion and was awarded $5000 in music recording equipment along with a Full Page Article in the VIBE Magazine, which held a total value of $50,000.
In 2009 he had won a Funkvolume competition with the help of his 6000 subscribers on youtube.
He is constantly praised for his unique style which focuses on usually uncommon or avoided areas such as scientific theory, government conspiracies and religious institutions.
It is rumored that in 2009 he had won a competition for BET's "BET Cypher" but the promoters had feared a violent altercation would have broken out if Ea had attended, so they decided to choose the runner-up Crown Royyal as the grand prize winner.
It is also rumored he has signed with record label Atlantic Records, but this has not yet been confirmed.
On March 13, 2009, Prince Ea's associate Yousef Taleb stated that his latest mixtape "The Mic In The Shoebox" is currently in the works for a summer release.

Artist Focus-Wax and Herbal T

While a vast array of mark ass haters continue to insist that Wax and Herbs fell off after their band, MacGregor, stopped playing shows, the truth is that they've spent the last two years writing and recording songs for their new album Grizzly Season. The album is an onslaught of funk, hip hop, and randomness of such a high caliber that it could only have come from the two greatest minds of our time, Wax and Herbal T. Wax and Herbal T are twin brothers and grew up writing songs together from a very young age. Now in their twenties, they are still writing, recording and performing together constantly. Their music has been described as funked-out hip hop with an occasional touch of rock and/or R&B. Lyrically the topics range from sex to drugs to love to life in general…and, of course, to the dismembering of whack MCs. Breaking News-Shady Promoters Scam University Out Of Nicki Minaj Concert

A college in Montclair, New Jersey is the latest victim of a scam involving an artist on Lil Wayne's Young Money record label, after criminals made off with $30,000 in deposits for Nicki Minaj.

According to reports, Montclair State University paid over $35,000 to a promoter, who has since disappeared with the funds, according to reps for Montclair State.

"What is this i'm hearing about a MSU [Montclair State University] concert? where and when is this concert supposed to be? i feel so bad 4 ppl who were scammed," Nicki Minaj tweeted.

Unsuspecting students were also duped into paying $40 per-ticket for the bogus show.

"I'm not doing any shows between now and the 22nd of October," Nicki Minaj tweeted. "When shows r confirmed i'll let u guys know. I'm sorry…Wen i find out the person responsible for this MSU scam i'm putting their name on twitter. scamming college kids? go to hell!"

Nicki Minaj's next official show takes place on October 30th, in Trinidad.

Several lawsuits have sprouted up against a variety of shady promoters, who claimed to be able to book Young Money artist Drake, but kept the deposits instead.

Breaking News-Lyfe Jennings Sentenced to 3 years in Jail

R&B crooner Lyfe Jennings, 37, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison on Wednesday (September 22nd) for an altercation on with his ex-girlfriend two years ago.

The singer made the revelation on his Twitter account.

"This will be my last post. To everyone who gave me a chance I am forever in your debt. I have had a fabulous career because of you," the singer tweeted. "I've lived a hundred lives in these 6 yrs so I not only won't, I don't have the right to complain. I would like to think that I've changed lives by changing my own, tho I can't be sure. But one thing I am sure of is God gives and takes away in measure. He is fair, just and forever."

The singer was arrested in 2008 after an altercation with his ex-girlfriend, where he broke into her house and shot a handgun.

He then fled the scene as police chased the singer in his 2005 Chevy Corvette.

Much of the singer's success was predicated on his realness and street appeal. He served 10 years in jail, prior to entering entertainment.

"All I can say in parting is that I have been honest. I didn't sugarcoat a word didn't hold back a single [part] of my life from [you]," he said.

He released a new album, I Still Believe, in August.

Artist Focus-Freddie Gibbs

Freddie Tipton (born January 28, 1982), better known by his stage name Freddie Gibbs, is a rapper from Gary, Indiana, now based in Southern California He was signed by Interscope Records before being let go from his deal without a record being released. Subsequent to this, in 2009, he brought out The Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs—a compilation of his work to that date, mixing mixtape tracks with unreleased studio material—and midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik—a collection of new music.Both were released for free to the internet.

Gibbs has been compared to the legendary artists, Tupac Shakur as he not only "has a similar voice and delivery to revered hip hop martyr, the two also share a similar content to their music.Both use gangster rap as a tool to display the struggle, the beauty, and the emotion of lower socioeconomic life in modern America."His Southern-sounding cadences and easy drops into double-time rapping has also drawn parallels to UGK, Z-Ro and Outkast (midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik's title being a play on that of Outkast's 1994 debut, southernplayalisticadillacmuzik).
